Academy (8U-10U)

The Bavarian Academy Program is designed specifically to progress boys and girls, age groups 8-U thru 10-U[born 2007-2009] through the foundational stage of technical development in a fun atmosphere that does not focus on winning as a measure of success. The Academy's emphasis is on training in the basic building blocks of the game (1 v 1, 2 v 1, 2 v 2, etc.). Passion and experimentation are strongly encouraged. Once admitted to the Academy, players are welcome to participate for the entire 8-U thru 10-U curriculum.

Technical development is fluid and changes rapidly at this stage of development. For this reason, one Academy practice session each week is conducted as a "pool." This is done to allow players to train with multiple coaches and  players. The second weekly practice session is conducted with your player's assigned team in preparation for the weekend's game(s). Coaches are constantly reevaluating and can reassign players prior to the start of the Spring season
The Bavarian Soccer Club follows the US Soccer Federation player development curriculum. Our club serves our community in developing players to the next level of the pyramid. We field teams in the Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association (WYSA) and the Wisconsin Development Academy (WDA).
